Do I need to be referred by my vet?

Yes, your pet will need to be seen by your normal vet before being referred to SVR.

Will my pet need to stay overnight?

The majority of our surgical patients are discharged on the day of surgery. 

Can I claim through my insurance?

Every vet practice we visit has individual policies on how to claim through your insurance. It is best to contact your veterinary practice directly regarding insurance claims.

Do you need an assistant?

Most of the time we don’t however, if an assistant is needed for a particular procedure, we would bring another surgeon with us. If you are a referring vet and would like to get involved you are most welcome to!

Can you bring a nurse with you?

Of course! Just let us know at the time of booking.

How much will surgery cost?

Every practice we visit has a different pricing policy. Please ask your Vet for an estimate. 

What if my pet has complications?

We aim to deal with complications as soon as possible. It is really important to follow all post-operative advice to minimise any risk.

Do you operate on weekends?

Yes!
