Brodie
Brodie is a very active and cheeky working Cocker Spaniel. While he was sprinting around his local woods, he managed to tear his cranial cruciate ligament (a very common injury in dogs). To correct his unstable stifle, he underwent a CORA Based Levelling Osteotomy (CBLO). He recovered well and was discharged on the day of surgery. The following day post-surgery, Brodie was already using his affected leg.

After 6 weeks of rest, Brodie came back for follow-up radiographs. His osteotomy (bone cut) had healed well at this point and he was able to resume normal exercise over the next few weeks. Since then he hasn’t looked back and is still tearing around in the undergrowth!
